  hi diane i have some info for u now re elizabeth gane 1858 her husband john jones byers died in 28th july 1922 in hughenden qld at 74 years old and buried in hughenden cementery with a head stone of good quality - married in port douglas date - 1881 - they had eleven children - john jones, margaret, eliza jane, william henderson, sarah wason, hugh wason, leslie ross, elsie olive, essie villela, stewart clarke, and one deceased female. he was born in tollycorbett monaghan ireland he lived in aust for 66yrs - his parents were john byers and mother ann jane mccoll - he was a commission agent. hows that hope we helped u regards linda
