It offers quality recording/mixing & some mastering facilities at relatively low cost,
and specializes in vocal or instrumental based music rather than just Sampler/Synth
based music. View equipment list
In the past, various percussion-based groups have used the studio because of Steve’s experience as a drummer and percussionist.

Because the studio can afford to record interesting projects, rather than just commercial ones, the key to recording at Bushwood is the relationship between Steve (as engineer or producer) and the musicians, where the aim is to get a natural, transparent sound and all elements of the mix can be heard, whatever the style of music being recorded.
The current recording set up is in the main room, where recording, mixing, programming etc. is done
or in the soundproof booth for recording vocals, drums, horns etc. For more than two simultaneous tracks a larger space is used to record with the portable 8-track digital recorder.
An advantage of “low key” project recording is that recordings can be arranged around the musicians’ availability; for example, YAK & Co was recorded over a period of eight months.
